Apostles And The Coming Storm

ACTS 27:14-25 reveals a powerful truth regarding the necessity of alignment with apostolic ministry.

ACTS 27:14-25 But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon. 15 So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive. 16 And running under the shelter of an island called Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty. 17 When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven. 18 And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. 19 On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. 20 Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up. 21 But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. 22 And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, 24 saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ 25 Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.

In 2016 God revealed to me that the Church would be going through a Euroclydon (A southeast wind that stirs up waves) size storm. Paul warned that people don’t survive this level of severe storm when traveling on the intended route, however, the Helmsman disregarded Paul’s advice and sailed on into a disaster. I believe that today many believers are not paying attention to the “weather” as it is occurring in the spiritual realm and manifesting itself in the political realm. We are heading into a severe storm of persecution against the message of Jesus Christ that may result in physical persecution of believers in our Country.

Many readers may not agree with what I am about to say, and that’s ok, I’m only telling what has been revealed to me. In regards to our current President, God spoke to me clearly, “I have put My foot in the door.” I immediately knew God was referring to the unexpected election of Donald Trump as 45th President of the United States. God was saying that through the election of Donald Trump, He stepped in and stopped the antichrist spirit from finishing the plans of persecution of the Church and silencing the message of Christ in our Nation. He further told me the reason He “put His foot in the door.” He said, “Because you (Church) were not ready for what was going to happen.” I don’t believe the average Christian has a clue about the level of violence intended toward Bible believing Christians in America, only God knows and He stepped in to stop it, at least for a while. We must remember what Jesus said as He was heading to His death, “If they hated me, they will hate you also.

Why is it important to be aligned to authentic apostolic ministry in this hour? Our story in ACTS tells us the answer, “It was an apostle that brought all people on board to safety.” Paul had a grace on his life that became the salvation of all those sailing with him. Alleluia! Let’s see that grace in operation.

  • Vs.21. “After long abstinence….Paul fasted and prayed for deliverance.” Apostles in the New Testament are noted to be people of fasting and prayer that brings deliverance to people.
  • Vs.22. “there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you..” Paul had received a Word from God that produced the “faith of God” in his heart, which came out of his mouth in a faith declaration.
  • Vs.23. “For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve.” Apostles are also noted to have deep spiritual experiences with the Heavenly realm. Paul was no doubt accustomed to the assistance of angels. The coming storm will require angels to assist the people of God.
  • Vs.24. “Fear not.” Apostles are individuals who have learned to master fear as Paul told Timothy at the outset of his ministry, “God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind.
  • Vs.25. “for I believe God that it shall even as it was told me.” Paul understood the operation of faith that puts “belief in the heart and speaks with the mouth” the revelation of the Spirit of God, which is the Living Word.

God is restoring the apostolic gift with great faith, power, and authority not just to be able to build large ministries, but to lead God’s people through the worst of storms. This is why we are seeing the Divine connection taking place between ministry leaders and authentic apostles in today’s Church. I believe that all Christians should find and connect with those ministries that are covered or led by recognized apostles, that is, those who have proven apostolic ministries that have produced fruit for years.

At this point in time, I don’t believe God is revealing much beyond the second term of President Trump because it will depend on what the Church does during this time of reprieve from the Devil’s plans for us. We must be preaching a message of Awakening to the Church (Listen to John’s message Awakening The Church) and getting involved in the upcoming elections. We must take back our land, it will not be given to us. Time is short, the days are evil and God is doing what is possible to alert and prepare us for what may come. Can it be averted? There is always hope in God, but only if the Church awakens and arises to our responsibilities. We have been immersed in “privilege” for years, now it is time to trumpet our “responsibilities.”
